Day 1

Transfer from the airport to the hotel

Day 2

Down hill (From the high pass of Malaga 4350 m/13 883 f to Santa Maria)

We will leave the hotel at 7:00 a.m... We will ascend until the 4800 m/15 744 f, to the high pass of Malaga, crossing the ruins of Ollantaytambo, from here, we will descend in down hill in our bicycles, observing the beautiful landscapes of the Valley of the Convención, then we will pass through a vegetation of a pleasant zone to finally enter to the cloud forest. In Carrizales we will take our box lunch and after that the ruins of Wamanmarka will be visited, after approximately 5 hours we will get to Santa Maria (1130 m/3593 f). Overnight in a campsite or in a hostel.

Day 3

We will trek from Santa Maria to Santa Teresa village in search of an unforgettable adventures, we will walk through footpaths of vegetation, where will be appreciated the sow and harvest of the coffee beans as well as the coca leaves, the sacred plant of the Incas, then we will cross original Inca ways for approximately 5 hours till arrive to Santa Teresa where we can take a bath in the village´s hot spring pools. Overnight in a hostel or in a campsite. Box lunch and supper included.

Day 4 Santa Teresa – Hidroelectrica – Machu Picchu

After breakfast we will begin to walk in search of the hanging bridges to cross the river Vilcanota through a basket, where we put our adventure and adrenalin on approval. There we will enjoy butterflies, parrots, small iguanas, birds, insects, etc. After 3 hours of walking we will arrive to Hidroelelctrica where we will catch the train to go to the town of Machu Picchu. Dinner and hotel included.

Day 5 Machu Picchu

Full day visit of Machu Picchu. We ascend towards the sanctuary to visit the most important temples, houses, storehouses, rest houses and places of this great tourist destiny. Few works done by the man show as much harmony with the nature as the sanctuary of Machu Picchu and you will be able to explore it before taking the train to come back Cusco. Transfer to hotel.

Day 6 Transfer from hotel to airport.
