Day 1
Transfer to hotel in Lima. Assistance in the airport of Lima and transfer to hotel.

Day 2 Transfer to the airport in Lima and hotel in Cusco.

City Tour and Saqsayhuaman ruins

One of the most developed earth civilizations had its origin in the Peruvian Andes leaving its cultural legacy in each corner of this vast territory. Cusco, its historical inheritance, its people and its natural surroundings offer to you: Visit the city and surrounding ruins. Tour begins with the visit to the Cathedral of Cusco, built on one of the most important temples of the Inka time, dedicated to Wiracocha, its construction began the year of 1559 and concluded in 1654. Inside is outstanding the work of the Cusco school of art. From the cathedral we move onto the Qoricancha "the Inca temple of the sun", synthesis of the Inca architecture, religious and organization. Then we will go to Saqsayhuaman, the old house of the sun, where you will be able to observe beautiful constructions of extraordinary dimensions. The visit continues in the amphitheatre of Qenqo, the red fortress of Pukapukara and the Inka baths of Tambomachay.

Day 3 Sacred Valley

Visit to Pisaq market, where you will find an artisan multicolor market of jewels, textiles and crafts adapted properly to the necessities of the tourists and of the local people who make their trade there. The market is open every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Then we continue the trip to the Fortress of Ollantaytambo, which even shows the Inca city-planning of its town, intact, which once were inhabited by noble Incas, Tour by the terraces, houses and Inca temples. Return to Cusco, en route visit Chinchero.

Day 4 Machu Picchu

Transfer to the train station and ride for 110 Km. to the town of Machu Picchu, known as Aguas Calientes. We ascend towards the sanctuary to visit the most important temples, houses, storehouses, rest houses and places of this great tourist destiny. Few works done by the man show as much harmony with the nature as the sanctuary of Machu Picchu and you will be able to explore it before stay in your hotel next to the ruins or in the town.

Day 5 In the morning is at your leisure. You have the options of walk by the town, take a relaxing bath in the medicinal thermal pools or return to the sanctuary of Machu Picchu. By the afternoon you must take the train that brings you back to Cusco. Transfer to hotel.

Day 6 Valley of the south

We travel early to the city of Puno, along the way we will see natural and historical places of incalculable value, like the Lagoon of Huacarpay, designated as a Ramsal site humedal, located at 30 km of Cusco, it is habitat of a great aquatic variety, rich in flora and fauna; being observed reefs called totoras, where live endemic and migratory birds. It is an ideal site to bird watching and fishing. We continue the trip towards Tipon where we will observe 12 agricultural terraces well-conserved that shows the high agricultural technology and hydraulic engineering of the Incas, built by Wiracocha and site of cult to the water. Soon we visit Andahuaylillas, the "Sixtine Chapel of America” that shows in its interior works of art of great quality. After that we visit Raqchi, where we stay in one of the houses furnished by the villagers and will participate in the daily activities of the community, we will make traditional ceramics and participate in the sowing or harvest of native products as corn, potato, etc., we flood the cattle of your family and share the domestic works like cooking, cleaning and after a hard day we taste all together the daily food prepared with native products of the place.

Day 7 Raqchi – Puno

Bus ride to Puno, visit en route Sillustani, located on the shores of the magical lake Umayo, these conical-shaped funerary towers were made from finely-worked stone by the Colla culture, whose masons were later taken to Cusco by the conquering Incas to work on their temples and palaces. Transfer to Hotel

Day 8 Full day Islands of Uros and Taquile

Full day visit islands of Uros, Taquile, their people and customs. Return to hotel

Day 9 Transfer from hotel to the airport.
